I don’t take on these challenges from the delightful Ronovan every week, but this time I can’t say no. The challenge, should you decide to play along, is to compose a haiku using the words “brain” and “cleanse.”
I use the standard English haiku form: three lines, with the first line having five syllables, the second one seven, and the third one five again, for a total of 17. It’s harder than it sounds, but it’s a great exercise in concision.
So, here’s my effort:
The three-day juice cleanse
Cleared out my body’s toxins.
Alas, not my brain’s.
